AtlantisI would sometimes look at the kangaroos in the night. The purple and green plastered kangaroos on my wall who shined a bit in the faint light. The dinosaurs slept in close quarters. The mummy's tomb hummed quietly in a drawer. Atlantis lived in a portrait above my head. Atlantis, the city that fell under the waves. The people who turned in to ghosts of mermaids. I believe the kangaroos were hopping towards their graves when my innocence went outside to play. You can't see purple and green in the shade, nor can you describe a shining city in the dark.Atlantis
